Students create a mechanism inside the cardboard box that transports the ball (usually 6 mm) from bottom to top or vice versa. Students receive the same basic packages of parts and tools. The number of initial games depends on the difficulty. Students gain a basic understanding of 3D design and microcontroller control. After training, they start to produce and refine their imaginary mechanisms, the mechanism should move the ball from one point to another. Finally, the completed works are presented to each other. There is an ongoing debate on this.
